Description
The Onboarding specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. They collaborate closely with customers to gather required information and documents, verify identities and financial details, and guide them through the setup and use of our platform. Their role is essential in providing a smooth and efficient start, while ensuring that our company remains compliant with industry regulations and internal policies.
Responsabilities
Collecting and verifying client information: Onboarding agents are typically responsible for collecting and verifying client information, including identity documents, financial statements, and other relevant data.
Guiding clients through the setup process: Onboarding agents help clients navigate the process of setting up and using the fintech platform or service, including setting up accounts, configuring settings, and linking external accounts or services.
Answering client questions and resolving issues: Onboarding agents provide support to clients, answering questions and resolving issues related to the onboarding process or the fintech platform or service.
Ensuring compliance with regulations: Onboarding agents must ensure that clients are in compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements, and that the company's internal policies and procedures are followed.
Maintaining accurate records: Onboarding agents are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client information and activities, ensuring that client data is protected and secure.

The perfect fit
- Knowledge of the fintech platform or service: Onboarding agents must have a deep understanding of the fintech platform or service that they are responsible for onboarding clients to, including its features, capabilities, and limitations.
- Familiarity with identity verification processes: Onboarding agents may be responsible for verifying the identity of clients, which may require knowledge of various identity verification technologies and processes.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements: Onboarding agents must have a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, and be able to ensure that clients are in compliance with these requirements.
- Knowledge of financial data and analysis: Onboarding agents may be required to review and analyze financial data, such as bank statements or tax returns, in order to verify client information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Technical proficiency: Onboarding agents may need to be proficient in using various software tools, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software or project management tools, to manage client onboarding and ensure a smooth process.
- Communication and customer service skills: Onboarding agents must have strong communication and customer service skills in order to effectively interact with clients, answer questions, and resolve issues during the onboarding process.

Experience
- 3 to 5 years* of experience in a similar role.
- Client Onboarding & Support: Guide clients through platform adoption, troubleshoot issues, provide technical assistance, and optimize the user journey.
- Project Management & Collaboration: Coordinate integration processes, work closely with technical and product teams to enhance the client experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM and onboarding tools.
- Communication & Client Relations: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts, provide training and guidance, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
